Amarsul promotes the correct sorting of glass at the ‘Tarde do Fogareiro’ event
As part of the Festivities in Honour of Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem in Moita, the ‘Tarde do Fogareiro’ event, which takes place on 18 September, will be supported by Amarsul, which will be present with an Environmental Education Team to raise awareness amongst participating groups and the public about the correct sorting of glass packaging. For this year’s event, bags will be provided exclusively for the disposal of glass packaging, as well as tilting glass collection bins at various points around the venue. Amarsul’s Environmental Education Team will also collect glass packaging from the participating groups using collection rucksacks. At the end of the event, collection from the venue will be carried out by Amarsul vehicles, in coordination with the local council.

Amarsul is helping to make the Portuguese Open a more responsible event
Between 17 and 20 September, Amarsul will be present at the 64th AT PGA Aroeira Portuguese Open, taking place in Aroeira, Almada, and will be supporting this major sporting event by promoting good environmental practices. During the four days of competition, Amarsul will ensure the separate collection of waste produced on site by providing suitable equipment and overseeing waste management.

Amarsul is taking part in yet another edition of the YARD Festival
On 11 and 12 September, YARD – One Last Summer Dance returns for another edition in the White Sand Mountains, once again with the support of Amarsul, which will ensure the implementation of a selective waste collection system during the event.
