From 3 to 8 September, Palmela will host another edition of the Grape Harvest Festival, one of the municipality’s most traditional and culturally significant events. Amarsul will be present throughout the event, promoting the correct sorting and disposal of waste.
To facilitate the proper disposal of recyclable waste, selective collection bins will be made available at various points around the venue, enabling participants to place their waste in the bins designated for each type.
Amarsul’s involvement will be complemented by a team of Environmental Education Monitors, who will carry out awareness-raising activities among traders and visitors. Through this presence, good practices in waste separation and management will be promoted, contributing to greater environmental literacy during the event.
This initiative reinforces the importance of correctly separating waste at source and adopting responsible behaviour, which are essential for promoting more efficient management of recyclable materials and contributing to a more sustainable future.
