On 3 and 4 July, the Sumol Summer Fest returns to the Inatel Campsite on the Costa da Caparica, and will once again be supported by Amarsul as an Ecoevento.

With thousands of attendees expected over the two days, Amarsul is partnering with this initiative with the aim of promoting sustainability and encouraging environmentally responsible behaviour during the festival.

To this end, a number of measures will be put in place to facilitate the correct sorting of waste and raise awareness amongst festival-goers, traders and other stakeholders of the importance of recycling.

Key initiatives include:

• Selective waste collection throughout the festival grounds and camping area;

• The presence of environmental education officers to raise awareness and provide support to festival-goers;

• Awareness-raising activities with traders, promoting good waste management practices.

Through its participation in this festival, Amarsul reinforces its mission to promote environmental education, recycling and waste recovery, demonstrating that it is possible to combine large-scale events with sustainability.
