Amarsul welcomed a group of teachers from the European Projects Development organisation to the Palmela Ecopark for a visit focused on sharing knowledge and best practices in the field of environmental and waste management.
During the visit, participants had the opportunity to explore different operational areas of the Ecopark, with a particular focus on the treatment of biodegradable waste and landfill waste management processes. The initiative provided an opportunity to showcase the solutions implemented by Amarsul to promote more efficient and sustainable management of urban waste.
Throughout the tour, topics related to waste recovery, environmental protection and the challenges associated with the circular economy were discussed, giving visitors an integrated view of how the infrastructure operates and its contribution to environmental sustainability.
The group, from Hungary, undertook this visit as part of international cooperation and exchange initiatives promoted by the organisation European Projects Development.
This initiative reinforces Amarsul’s commitment to promoting cooperation, knowledge sharing and environmental awareness at an international level.
