Pupils and teachers from Carlos Gargaté Primary and Secondary School visited the Seixal Ecopark Sorting Centre, giving participants the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of waste management and recovery practices, observing the main processes involved in the sorting and handling of recyclable waste, from its reception through to preparation for recycling.

This visit also raised awareness of more responsible behaviour in everyday life, encouraging everyone involved to adopt good environmental practices.

This initiative forms part of an ongoing commitment to environmental education and the involvement of the educational community in promoting more active and conscious citizenship.
