As part of the Waste Treatment Systems module, students on the Master’s in Environmental Engineering at NOVA FCT visited the Seixal Ecopark.

The students toured the Automated Sorting Plant and the Organic Waste Recovery Plant, gaining first-hand insight into the processes and technologies involved in the management and recovery of urban waste.

The initiative helped to strengthen the link between the academic component and the operational reality of the environmental sector.
