Students on the Master’s in Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, visited the Setúbal and Palmela Ecopark Composting Plant. During the visit, they observed the main processes involved in the recovery of organic waste, from reception through to the production of compost, thereby strengthening their practical knowledge of sustainable waste management.

The initiative also enabled an exchange of experiences with Amarsul’s technical team, in line with the company’s commitment to training future professionals and promoting good environmental practices.
